Services Planned for Karen Anne Lundy August 4th

Karen Anne (Sloniker) Lundy died July 28th, 2010 at the age of 54. She was born October 4, 1955 in San Francisco, CA to Robert and Irene Sloniker both preceding her in death. ..Karen attended school in the San Francisco area. In 1982 she married Craig Lundy. They moved to Amador County in 1986 where they raised their family on the family ranch in Pine Grove. Karen worked in the grocery industry in the Pine Grove area for many years. She was an excellent seamstress, making her own wedding dress as well as the ......


attire for the rest of the wedding party. She loved gardening, camping, hiking, wild flowers and playing games, and her children and granddaughters were the light of her life. Son, Kevin Lundy of Colorado and daughter Janice (Lundy) Perez of Lodi, CA and granddaughters , Ashleigh and Katelyn Perez of Lodi, CA. She is also survived by two sisters Pat (Barry) Thackston of Idaho and Susan Roberts of Oregon and Uncle Frank Sloniker of Colorado along with many cousins, aunts, uncles, four nieces and friends. We will forever miss your laughter and kindness.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Community Covenant Church in San Andreas. A celebration of life will be held at Turner Park directly following the service. Michael played a big role in the development of Turner Park.
