Letter to the Editor~by Craig Hull
"Free Enterprise vs Socialism....That choice for you to make, is already here, in Calaveras County, and with the elections for County Supervisors in District 1 and 3, and we have to choose whether we want to remain a Free Enterprise society, with property rights protected by the United States Constitution, or begin the road to European Socialism.....
All 5 Supervisors voted for the General Plan, options "B"or "C", but rejected "D".
Option "D" would allow for controlled growth, and preserve property rights under the Constitution.
Options "B" & "C" would strip you of property rights, devaluing your property, with NO compensation, and follows the guidelines of the United Nations Sustainable Growth Agenda 21 plan.
Why would any elected official, let alone all 5 of them vote against the Constitution, that they all swore to uphold ?
Well, let's connect the dots to see who Mrs. Callaway associates with.
Ebbetts Pass Forest Watch ( EPFW ) / Community Action Project (CAP) quoted in their newsletter; "In our system of government, land use issues represent a classic fault line where the rights of the individual are reconciled with the rights of the community."
EPFW / CAP accepted funding from California Wildlife Grassroots, fund, which is a Tides Foundation Fund ( remember ACORN ), which is funded by George Soros, the international financier with ties to the United Nations.
More Dots ( Merita Callaway is a member of CSAC,CSAC is a proud member of ECLEI,ECLEI is Agenda 21's foot soldier ).
"Individual rights will have to take a back seat to the collective. "Harvey Ruin, vice chair of ICLEI .
Bill McManus supports the United States Constitution and promotes Plan "D", protecting property rights, and depends on funding from friends, family and business associates.
Stay tuned for research on Russ Thomas
