Calaveras County Sheriffs Office Working on Suspected Missing Person Case
Authorities from the Calaveras County Sheriffs Department are working on recovery of the body of a deceased male that was located near Salt Springs Reservoir area yesterday. It is suspected of being a missing Stockton USD employee, Steven Leslie Sid, a 52-year-old Asian male who was reportedly missing on June 7th at the Salt Springs Reservoir campground. There has been no confirmation of the males identity. More to follow as we receive.....

The Amador Ledger Dispatch wrote last night that about 2pm yesterday a human leg was found in the Mokelumne River below the Salt Springs Reservoir Dam. It was first called into the Amador County Sheriff's office.
In speaking with the Sheriff's office this morning it appears that it will be a Calaveras County Case as it may be on the Calaveras side of the Mokelumne River that divides the counties...
