Making Burgers with The Boys on Kid's in Jenny's Kitchen~with Jenny Baxter of Jenny's Kitchen
Angels Camp, CA...The Hamilton boys had the chance to get together with their favorite gal and learn how to make their very own stuffed grilled hamburgers. This was quite a treat for them. Now maybe they can show their mom a few tricks. Jenny worked with them on making Island Burgers, which are Ground Turkey Burgers and Cowboy Burgers made with beef.....
Our boys are definitely getting more comfy on camera....Please excuse their silly faces and noises:) Kids will be kids:)
Here are the recipes for your enjoyment
1 lb. ground turkey
3 sliced green onions
3 Tablespoons soy sauce
Garlic powder salt and pepper to taste
Mix the above ingredients into a bowl. Form hamburger into patties and grill to desired doneness. Makes 2 double burners or four singles.
Grilled Fresh Pineapple
Cut the rind from half of a pineapple. Slice into ¼ inch rounds. Brush with oil and grill just until warm
Mango Mayonnaise
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons mango chutney
Mix the above ingredients into a small bowl.
To assemble the Island Burger just spread the mango mayonnaise on the sides of a grilled bun, place the pineapple on one side and the turkey burger on the other. Add sliced red onions if desired
Cowboy Burgers
2 lb. ground round
Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
Combine the above ingredients and form into hamburger patties. Set aside
½ cup mashed beans of your choice

Lay a patty on a plate. Place 2 Tablespoons of the beans and cheese on the top and cover with the other patty pinching the sides closed. Grill to desired doneness. Makes 4 double burgers
