Cause of Wards Ferry Road Fire Under Investigation

A RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE WAS FULLY INVOLVED WHEN FIRE RESOURCES ARRIVED. THE FIRE HAD SPREAD INTO THE NEARBY GRASS VEGETATION BURNING 2 ACRES. ESTIMATED DOLLAR DAMAGE ON THE STRUCTURE AND CONTENTS WAS REPORTED AT $70,000 AND ESTIMATED DOLLAR DAMAGE ON THE GRASS VEGETATION WAS REPORTED AT $500.
