Mark Twain St. Josephs Hospital To Support Community at Produce Distribution
Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital has partnered with the County’s Resource Connection Food Bank to provide health information, blood pressure checks and free lipid panel testing during the produce distribution line on Friday, July 24th between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. About 200 families have been taking advantage of the bi-weekly produce line. ....
“We have been very supportive of the great work the Resource Connection does for our residents and want to be a part of their effort” said hospital president Feliciano Jiron. “In today’s hard economic times, more and more of our neighbors depend on our county programs. This is a good time to provide free health services to these same families.”
The Food Bank is located at 206 George Reed Drive in San Andreas. To contact the Resource Connection, please call 754-1257.
Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital is a not-for-profit, 48-bed general acute care hospital serving all of Calaveras County. The hospital is supported by 31 active physicians practicing in 24 specialties.
