New Highway 4 Kickoff July 21st.....Community and Local Businesses encouraged to join the celebration!
We would like to invite you to join us in celebrating the opening of the NEW Hwy 4 at our Kickoff Celebration July 21, 2009 at the corner of Hwy 4 and 49 across from Starbucks. Take this opportunity to be the first to run, walk, skate or ride a bike across the new state route (SR-4). Activities for July 21, 2009 begin at 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m....

• Run, bike, walk, skate or roll across the State Route (non-motorized vehicles only and no animals will be allowed)

The State Route 4 (SR-4) project is the first project in the State of California to be completed with funds provided by Proposition 1B. Upon completion, the new roadway will provide motorists with a streamlined route to the Sierra while creating a pedestrian friendly atmosphere in downtown Angels Camp.
