World's Longest Craft and Yard Sale ~By John Hamilton
Ebbetts Pass, CA...If you made it up to our area you no doubt noticed the Yard Sale signs were out in force. The Entire Ebbetts Pass Corridor was converted to a miles and miles long shopping bazaar. As is customary especially on Memorial Day weekend the signs come out, garages and storage sheds are emptied, vendors display their wares and shopping opportunities in our normally shopping challenged area multiply exponentially. The traditional Arts and Craft fair in the Bristol's parking lot in Arnold drew good sized crowds and also dozen of vendors...
The Shoppers above were salivating on all the deals at the Craft Show in Arnold. They were soooo darn cute and very photogenic! Just click above for about 50 photos..
In Murphys...the Murphys Volunteer Fire Department held one of their biggest fundraisers with their sale busy, busy sale. The Calaveras Humane Society held a massive sale of their own in the Big Trees Market parking lot.
So make plans now for the July 4th, Holiday weekend as once again our area will suddenly sprout shopping galore.
