Railroad Motorcar Excursion on the Sierra RR to Railtown 1897 This Coming Sunday April 19th!
Jamestown, CA....On Sunday April 19th 2009 members of the railroad motorcar club Motorcar Operators West will bring a group of about 25 railroad motorcars to Railtown 1897 State Historic Park in Jamestown, California. This is part of our annual spring time excursion on the Sierra Railroad. We will depart Oakdale around 9am, then travel on the tracks though the valley and foothills to Railtown 1897. Our arrival is around noon to stop.....
for lunch and to visit the museum and park. During our stay our cars will be available for viewing and we can answer any question about our passion. We will be there until our departure around 2:30pm back to Oakdale where we intend to arrive around 5:30pm.
