AUTISM, BIOPRO and Mounted Dream Center Ranch~by Patti Taylor-Welch of Mounted Dream Center
"Ever wish you had a solution to medical issues that didn’t involve taking medication? I think I found it! My name is Patti Taylor-Welch. If autism statistics concern you, please read this. I founded Mounted Dream Center, a therapeutic riding facility for children with learning and developmental challenges which include Autism Spectrum Disorders. In July of 2007, I attended a Rotary meeting to hear Dr. Ryan Thompson speak about his new Autism specialty center in Murphy’s CA, called ‘Mind Matters’. He in turn was very interested in the mission of Mounted Dream Center because he was aware of the positive effects of equine therapy....
I questioned Dr. Thompson about the studies that were being done in Japan at the time, that pointed toward the MMR inoculation being the possible factor in creating Autism. While he didn’t feel it was the cause, he did feel ‘it is possibly the straw that breaks the camels back’. So I pushed further and asked the question….. “What are we doing to our children to create this epidemic 1 in 65 children have autism?”
He stated the factors :
Weakened genes
Environmental toxins
ALONG with 35 inoculations in a child’s first 5 years.
I heard what he said but sure didn’t understand it at the time.
In Aug 2008, I learned through Candace Heron, Nurse Practioner of Holistic MD: Dr J. Jaggy that, Larry, one of their ‘special needs’ referrals to our center had experienced a major improvement through the use of a BIOPRO pendant. A normal morning for Larry was to wake up grumpy and tearful until his morning medications took effect. Larry went to bed with the pendant on and the following morning, woke with a smile. I verified the ‘tears to smiles story’ with Larry’s mother and immediately looked into BIOPRO.
I am not easily impressed with alternative therapies, so I was a hard sell. I researched their claims and even purchased a pendant for myself as a test since I had some medical issues that were unexplainable. The picture became clear! The increases in autism, Alzheimer’s and cancer in the last 30 years overlap the high tech revolution….. Coincidence? I think not. The high tech electronics that we’ve come to love don’t have to be our downfall. So here I am, armed with a goal to help those with special needs through the use of horses to build self-esteem and confidence, and along comes BIOPRO to help.
