William "Bill" Theadore Paulos Has Passed Away

San Andreas, CA....Longtime San Andreas resident, William "Bill" Theodore Paulos, passed away on March 21st, 2009 of Natural Causes at Mark Twain Convalescent Hospital. He was 85. He was a resident of San Andreas for 60 years. A native of Jordan, MT, he grew up, lived and worked on ranches. Bill moved to California in 1949 where a job as head custodian for Calaveras School District waited for him. "Old Timers" may remember him for training horses, a real passion for him. He retired after 47 years in 1996. He liked to fish, camp and most of all spent most of his time riding horses and helping friends with cattle on summer range in the Highland Lakes area.....

He is survived by his wife, Ferdena Paulos; Children, Georgia Stacher of Lovell, WY, Bonita Pulliam of San Andreas; Brother Earl Crider of Vancouver, WA; A sister, Eva Brown of Denver, CO; 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Granchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Myrna Langley and Romae Paulos.

Private Services are being held.
