Columbia College Summer Registration Starts April 6
If you’re thinking about summer activities, be sure to include some Columbia College classes in your plans. There will be three sessions offered by the college this summer. Session 1 runs from May 11 to June 11, session 2 from June 15 to July 16, and session 3 from July 20 to August 15. Registration for the first session starts on April 6, but students can also enroll at that time for classes in any or all sessions. The basic enrollment fee is $20 per unit, in addition to other standard student fees....
Although three sessions are scheduled, keep in mind that there are also a number of classes that start and end at various times throughout the summer. So checking on a class schedule is highly encouraged. For a complete listing of courses, go online to gocolumbia.edu/ catalogschedules.htm. Printed class schedules are available at public libraries in Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties, and at the Oakdale Public Library, as well as at numerous retail locations throughout the area.
Summer classes will be held on the college’s Sonora campus, at the Calaveras Center in Angels Camp, the High Sierra Institute at Baker Station, and other off-campus locations.
Students can register at gocolumbia.edu by clicking on connectColumbia, or via touch-tone phone at 536-5400. If preferred, students can register in person at the college’s admissions and records office, 588-5231 in Sonora and at their Calaveras Center, 736-5940 at 2892 Highway 49 in Angels Camp.
