Calaveras Saddle Club Benefit Horse Show Being Held on March 28th
In an effort to promote the equestrian sport throughout Calaveras County, the Calaveras Saddle Club Benefit Horse Show is being organized by a Bret Harte High School Senior. The horse show will be on Saturday, March 28, 2009, and it will start at 9:00 am. Throughout the 37 different classes, the horse show will feature four main riding disciplines including: English, jumping, western, and gymkhana. The horse show is open to anyone of any age, and is categorized into three different divisions: walk-jog, 17 & under, and 18 & over. We also welcome this horse show to 4-H members, as we will have a showmanship class offering members the benefit to use this event in their record books....
The participants in the horse show will be riders from our county and other surrounding counties, who are showcasing their riding abilities and skill through out the equestrian sport. In an effort to increase popularity among the equestrian sport in Calaveras County, spectators are encouraged to come to the horse show and bring friends and family.
