Bear Valley, CA...These photos were taken on Saturday of Bear Valley's Freeride Team shredding the slopes in the perfect weather! The Mountain's Team programs are designed to foster a love for snow sports, develop ski/snowboard athletes, encourage a healthy lifestyle and enrich the child/family experience......

Bear Valley has produced some of the best riders in the country. Skiers Mike Schimke (Winter X Gamer & Paul Mitchell American Freeskier Tour) and Tyler Skivington (Paul Mitchell American Freeskier Tour skier) developed their skills on our mountain. Safelight Rails, Bear Valley's official rail supplier developed their products right here. The Freeride Team is for all-mountain skiers and snowboarders who want to slide the steep and deep and go big in the park and pipe. The focus for this team will be on jumps, rails, pipe, steeps and safety.The teams are for girls and guys, ages 10 to 18 with intermediate and above skills. Training is every other weekend throughout the season.
