Leadership Calaveras Program is Forming Now!
Calaveras County, CA....The Leadership Calaveras 2009 program is forming now and there are still a few openings. The Class is an intensive 9 month program that studies the issues confronting Calaveras County. Individuals enrolled in the program will meet on the first Wednesday of each month to focus on topics such as Agriculture, Recreation, Natural Resources, Art & Culture, Health & Human Services, Education, Media, Land Use and Planning. The Leadership class will have the opportunity to meet current county leaders....

in each of the areas and gain an in-depth understanding of each topic. During a typical class meeting, the group will travel to locations around the county meeting with and learning from business owners and leaders. Additionally, the class will decide upon a Class Project which it will work on during the course of the program. The cost of the program is $500.
