Awesome Conditions at Bear Valley!
Bear Valley, CA...Hey good people! We've had 61"of snowfall in the last week! Conditions are awesome with some Sunny skies after a week of storms. Skiing/Riding is fantastic and coverage on the mountain has finally taken shape. The Backcountry avalanche hazard is LOW. So make sure to Check out the Avalanche advisory for the areas outside of the boundary at Bear Valley Mtn. http://www.sierraavalanchecenter.org/...
Want a tip on where to ride? Ask a patroller, We love to give the inside track on where the gettin' is good. Also, if you need any questions answered while around the lodge, seek out any staff member with a Bear Valley Mtn logo on their jacket and they'll be happy to help out. Locals and visitors alike are having super fun and finding some great runs on and off the groomed areas. And like we always do.....Send your best to the Snow Gods for more fresh turns! Bear Valley Cross-Country center is open with 35 trails for a total of 46 kilometers available, 27 trails with groomed track and skating lanes and 4 snowshoe only trails. The Meadow Cafe and Sledding Hill are open for business daily.
