Murphys, CA....Plan to join us "Live" right here this Saturday, February 14th at 7pm for "Live" streaming of the 7th Annual "Love The Forest Concert!" The 7th Annual Love the Forest Valentine’s Concert benefits the local non-profit group Ebbetts Pass Forest Watch. You can check them out at http://www.epfw.org/. Tickets are available at the locations listed below. Love the Forest is always a memorable evening of fun with a drawing and great live music for all ages, this year featuring....

The Replay of all three sets is enclosed...

Megan Slankard - “Slankard’s vocal style is so distinctive that simply naming influences (Ani DiFranco, Alanis Morissette) doesn’t do it justice. Her vocal melodies are immediately arresting, she uses hip-hop phrasing and whisper-to-roar dynamics like a pro, and she never lets her impeccable technique eclipse the emotion she pours into her performances.” (Acoustic Guitar Magazine) Megan and the band are currently finishing up recording their new full length CD that will be available this year. The band will have a 100% recycled packaging option for those folks who still enjoy the packaging. Megan is on a mission to become an “Earth Friendly” Indie act, and in addition to using CD Eco-wallets, she will have Fair Trade recycled t-shirts, and other sustainable products and practices. http://www.meganslankard.com/index.php

Michela MacFarlane –Michela MacFarlane http://michelamacfarlane.com/ turns the mundane into the sublime with one turn of phrase. She adds an international flavor with her ability to sing in many languages. Michela is backed up by Dennis Jaramillo who is a Bay Area guitarist who plays classical, Brazilian and Jazz music in a variety of ensembles.

Still Bill - Still Bill's playful and alluring combination of vocals, guitars, bass and congas creates an experience that lifts your spirits and takes you home to your heart. Kent Welsh and Bill Welles alternate lead and rhythm guitar, while Erin Ross and Jens Jarvie provide a rich beat. And with a variety of lead vocals and lush four-part harmonies through almost every number, Still Bill carries the listener home to the roots of rock and roll, folk and bluegrass with a vibrancy, depth and flat-out fun rarely found in popular music.
