Murphys Celebrated our 44th President ~By John Hamilton Murphys, CA...There were several Inauguration events and parties in Calaveras County last night. From Mokelumne Hill to Murphys residents and visitors celebrated the transfer of power and the start of the Obama era. When we stopped by the Murphys Inaugural Bash organized by the East Calaveras Democrats they were just getting rolling and already a good sized crowd was gathering.
