Please Come Together as Our Wonderful Community Always Does and Reach Out to This Lovely Family....A Fundraiser Is Being Hosted for Amberlee Tindell, 21, on March 1st....Flier Enclosed

On Christmas Eve Amberlee Tindell, a 21 year old mother of two, was diagnosed with a malignant tumor in the parotit gland on her face. The tumor has been surgically removed and the prognosis is good. However, she must undergo radiation treatment to the facial area five days a week for a total of seven weeks. She and her husband, Roger, will make the daily trip to Lodi for the treatments. Amberlee’s parents are Robert and Dyana Moore and grandparents Chet and Barbara Cheney of Copperopolis and George and Joan Loomis of Angels Camp.....

The Tindell Family

Economic times are hard enough on everyone, but now this young family will be faced with additional expenses resulting from this medical situation.

In order to help them offset the financial drain they are sure to face, friends and family have gathered to plan a Spaghetti Dinner and Raffle. The event will be held on Sunday, March 1st, at the Angels Gun Club in Angels Camp. Dinner tickets are going on sale this week at $10 each. Also going on sale will be raffle tickets for several big-ticket items including

· A ton of pellets

· A BBQ barrel

· A round of golf for 4 including carts at Greenhorn Creek

· A handmade quilt

· And other prizes to follow

These tickets will sell for $5 each or 6 for $20. Raffle tickets will be available at the event for additional prizes. Cost for these tickets will be $1 each or 6 for $5.

Dinner tickets can be purchased in Angels Camp at Guaranty Bank, Spence Ranch & Feed, and Orphan Annie’s; in Murphys at Express Yourself and in Copperopolis at Union Mine Country Store.

Sharon Canepa (Amberlee’s great aunt) is in charge of the raffles. If you have anything you would like to donate for the raffle or to purchase raffle tickets you can contact Sharon at 736-2323. If you wish to make a cash donation you can write a check made out to Amberlee Tindell. All funds will be held at Guaranty Bank in Angels Camp.

Not only will this event benefit a young family in need, but it is sure to be a fun and social event for all involved. A Social time will begin at 4:00 pm followed with dinner being served at 5:00 pm. Participants will have ample time for visiting, viewing all the raffle items and picking out your favorites, purchasing additional raffle tickets, and sipping your favorite beverage at the bar which will be manned by members of the Angels Gun Club. In addition there will be a Karaoke area and games outside for the children (weather permitting).

We hope you will all be able to attend the dinner, but if not, please consider any of the other options above. Only 300 dinner tickets will be sold, so be sure to order your tickets as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please contact Joan Loomis at (209) 736-2136, Tamara Dragomanovich at (209) 736- 4041, or Dyana Moore at 785-4630
