Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors to Meet on Tuesday January 20th

Tuolumne County, CA...The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors are back in action Tuesday morning at 9am. At Tuesday Meeting they will be adopting the Final 2009 BOS Goals; Accepting the resignation of Stephen Willey; They will also be discussing the consideration of approving the revision of the BOS Committees Organizations and Partnership Handbook for the Sheriff's Department; Consideration of approving the Agreement with Aramark Correctional Services, LLC to provide food and commissary services for the Tuolumne County Jail with an annual cost of approximately $357,000; First reading of an ordinance amending Section 3.56.020 of the Tuolumne County Ordinance Code revising advertising fees for Tuolumne County Transit buses. 1. Minutes of the meeting held January 5, 2009 and January 6, 2009.
2. Adopting the Final 2009 Board of Supervisors Goals.
3. Approving the waiver of the vacating event for Columbia Area Planning Commissioner
Cristine Barsanti.
4. Accepting the resignation of Stephen Willey from the Jamestown Area Planning
Commission and directing the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to post a Notice of
Vacancy and send a letter of appreciation.
5. Approving the appointment of Joann Rascon to the Tuolumne County Behavioral
Health Advisory Board as a new member for a term to expire September 30, 2011.

6. Consideration of authorizing the rejection of all bids for the A.N. Francisco parking
structure project.
7. Consideration of approving the revision of the Board of Supervisors Committees
Organizations and Partnership Handbook.

8. Consideration of approving the Agreement with Aramark Correctional Services, LLC
to provide food and commissary services for the Tuolumne County Jail, with an annual
cost of approximately $357,000.

9. First reading of an ordinance amending Section 3.56.020 of the Tuolumne County
Ordinance Code revising advertising fees for Tuolumne County Transit buses.
10. Consideration of approving an advertising space trade Agreement with Clarke
Broadcasting to exchange the value of advertising signs on Tuolumne County Transit
buses for radio and website advertising.
11. Consideration of directing Solid Waste staff to issue an Request for Proposal (RFP)
for groundwater monitoring, stormwater monitoring and landfill gas monitoring
services at Groveland and Jamestown landfills.

12. Ordinance
Second reading of an Ordinance (TC08-017) amending Titles 1, 12, and 15 of the
Tuolumne County Ordinance Code to adopt the following Codes: the 2007 Editions
of the California Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, Energy, Historical,
Reference Standards, and Fire Codes, the 2006 International Property Maintenance
Code, and the 2007 Edition of the National Fire Codes; and to amend, repeal, and add
Sections applicable to code compliance, expiration of Building Permits, the location
of electrical disconnects, wood shake roof materials, abatement of dangerous
buildings, and aircraft storage hangars.
13. Consideration an appointment to the Tuolumne County Resource Conservation
District for a term to expire November 30, 2012.

15. Closed Session - Conference with Real Property Negotiators (Authority:
Government Code §54956.8) for a .2424 acre of property along Mono Way across
from the Subaru dealership containing portions of APNs 043-110-35 and 043-132-41
to discuss price and terms of payment. Real Property negotiators are Craig Pedro,
County Administrator, and Daniel Richardson, Deputy County Administrator.
16. Closed Session - Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation (Authority:
Government Code § 54656.9(a)) - In the matter of Thomas J. Fraser -Department of
Industrial Relations State Mediation and Conciliation Service Case No. ARB-08-0120.

Continued public hearing to consider the TUOLUMNE COUNTY
HISTORIC PRESERVATION REVIEW COMMISSION AND THE
TUOLUMNE COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR,
Resolution for General Plan Amendment (GPA07-009) to update the
text of the Cultural Resources Management Element of the Tuolumne
County General Plan by 1) Clarifying and updating existing policies,
implementation programs, and terminology; 2) Eliminating document
reference lists; and 3) Modifying the criteria for conducting cultural
resource studies, located in the unincorporated area of Tuolumne
County.

Continued public hearing to consider TUOLUMNE COUNTY HISTORIC
PRESERVATION REVIEW COMMISSION AND THE TUOLUMNE
COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR, Ordinance
(TC07-017) amending Title 14 of the Tuolumne County Ordinance Code
relative to the management of cultural resources. The changes include
adding definitions, updating and clarifying existing definitions, deleting
reference to relocations of cultural resources, updating procedures,
addition of an applicability section, updating criteria used to determine
when a cultural resource study is required, adding Skidmore Plats to the
County's database, and deleting the reference to Appendix 9.A of the
General Plan.
