Calfire MMU's Karen Guillemin-Kanawyer confirmed that marijuana grows were in the area but it is still unconfirmed if the origin of the fire was near a grow pending investigation. The fire is burning in heavy brush. Extreme temperatures and dry conditions allowed the fire to burn very actively. The fire fighters and fire crews kept the fire in check over night and Air Attack, Tankers and Helicopters will be back dumping water and retardant on this fire today....
