Posted by: thepinetree on 03/21/2019 05:14 AM
San Andreas, CA...The Metropolitan in downtown San Andreas is a great dining & entertainment destination thanks ot the efforts of the new management team. In 1994, Cyndie Hoffman (Klorer) was involved in her first theatrical production out of high school at the historic Metropolitan Theater in San Andreas. Once bitten by the theater bug, she was smitten. Not only with the art of theater, but with the beautiful facility at 59 Main Street in San Andreas. For many years to come, Cyndie would dream of running a theater of her own.

A Time to Look Back as We Move Forward. The Federalist Papers Number Fourteen by Publius. Introduction by John Hamilton

Posted by: thepinetree on 03/20/2019 11:36 PM
Arnold, CA...Federalist Fourteen was written by James Madison and is "Objections to the Proposed Constitution From Extent of Territory Answered" and is below our intro and is available in an audio format if you click the image below. In our sharply politically divided country it may be time for us all to look back and reaffirm that our country really is a collection of ideas and ideals. The Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness that we all at times take for granted was hard fought and narrowly won. In the end our allegiance is not to a King, Dictator or Strong Man but too each other. One thing the founding fathers all agreed on was that human nature is subject to weakness and they took into account human frailties. They devised a system that has at many times protected us from man's and woman's worst enemy which is the reflection that stares back at us all from the mirror.

President Trump Before Departure to Ohio...Comments on Mueller Probe & More

Posted by: thepinetree on 03/20/2019 09:37 PM
Washington, DC....White House, South Lawn, 12:25 P.M. EDT. Question: Do you know when the Mueller report will be released, Mr. President? THE PRESIDENT: I have no idea. No collusion. No collusion. I have no idea when it’s going to be released. It’s interesting that a man gets appointed by a deputy; he writes a report. You know — never figured that one out. A man gets appointed by a deputy; he writes a report. I had the greatest electoral victory — one of them — in the history of our country. Tremendous success. Tens of millions of voters. And now somebody is going to write a report who never got a vote. So we’ll see what the report says. Let’s see if it’s fair. I have no idea when it’s going to be released.

Federal Reserve Issues FOMC Statement & Holds Steady on Intrest Rates

Posted by: thepinetree on 03/20/2019 11:53 AM
Washington, DC...Information received since the Federal Open Market Committee met in January indicates that the labor market remains strong but that growth of economic activity has slowed from its solid rate in the fourth quarter. Payroll employment was little changed in February, but job gains have been solid, on average, in recent months, and the unemployment rate has remained low. Recent indicators point to slower growth of household spending and business fixed investment in the first quarter. On a 12-month basis, overall inflation has declined, largely as a result of lower energy prices; inflation for items other than food and energy remains near 2 percent. On balance, market-based measures of inflation compensation have remained low in recent months, and survey-based measures of longer-term inflation expectations are little changed.
