On August 16 Amador County Master Gardeners will be offering a class that will help you learn how to identify Amador's native conifers, oaks and madrones. Speakers will discuss pertinent diseases and pests of importance. They will also talk about treatments that could possibly help with these symptoms. You will also learn how to recognize signs of hazardous trees and how to address them as well as the basics about working around trees and how to avoid damage.
You are encouraged to bring photos and/or specimens to this class.
This free class will be held from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Amador County GSA Building, 12200-B Airport Road Jackson/Martell. If you have any questions call the Master Gardeners from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday at 223-6838 or e-mail mgamador@ucdavis.edu. |
