Joe Craven & the Sometimers – Americana, standards, and more at the Sutter Creek Theatre |
His music combines so many diverse elements that it is practically its own genre. ~ Audiophile Review
Joe has made music with many folks – notably violinist Stephane Grappelli and Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia – to multi-whirled string guy David Lindley, harmonica wizard Howard Levy and seven years recording and touring with banjo fusionist Alison Brown.
Jonathan Stoyanoff is a much in demand bassist who has played and/or shared bills with Larry Coryell, B.B. King, Robert Cray, Huey Lewis, Dave Mason, Jackie Greene, and many more.
Bruce MacMillan is a wonderfully intuitive musician dedicated to the holy temple of American Roots Music, including Blues to Bluegrass, Country to Jazz and Rock & Roll.
Hattie Craven has built a reputation as one of the finest young, if not youngest, performers on the stages of the Strawberry Music Festival, California Worldfest, Kate Wolf Memorial Festival and the Millpond Music Festival – all to standing ovations.
The award winning historic Sutter Creek Theatre is an intimate 215 seat former silent film theatre with superb sond. Beer and wine at the venue. Tickets and video at the web site www.suttercreektheatre.com
