Victory for Bret Harte Boys Golf ~By Hanna Heath
Angels Camp, CA…..Yesterday the top six boys on the Bret Harte Golf team, teed off against Argonaut at the beautiful 18 hole golf course at Greenhorn Creek in Angels Camp. Another victory for Bret Harte has made them the team to beat this season. Score records show that Bret Harte is 9-0….
   
“I think our team has done great this season, we are all really confident and perform well,” shared freshman golfer Carson Ellington. Carson has been golfing since the age of four. He has been involved with competitive golfing for the last four years. “I enjoy playing one the Bret Harte Golf team, because the people on the team are fun and I enjoy traveling to all the other golf courses and experiencing other ranges.”
“This year’s team is diffidently the best team Bret Harte has had in years. The only thing we need to work on is having every golfer perform well during every match,” shared senior golfer David Hunter. David stated that “his personal goal this year is to qualify for sections.” He is plans on developing a higher understanding of the golfing fundamentals which will help him qualify.
The Bret Harte golf team has ten teammates. During every match the top six boys compete against various teams. They complete nine holes during one match. The boys will be participating in the Croce Tournament on April 1st at Lockford Springs. Good Luck Boys!
