Hey Good People!! Bear Valley Weather & Conditions Update By Mattly Trent
Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People!. 32″ of new snow in the last 36hrs and 15″ of new overnight!!!!! Today the high will be around 21F with SW winds from 10-20mph with some gusts up to the low 30’s possibly. 10-14″ of new is possible today with another 6-10″ tonight and 2-4″ for Saturday. Winds have backed off a bit as the gradient loosens up and today we’ll see the storm intensity slow down with a return later this evening as the storm has it’s final push. CalTrans has done an incredible job keeping Hwy 4 open and clear and the easiest access on the Western slope despite the storm intensity. As with any Resort in Central/NorCal during this storm, we’re all working hard with snow removal, Mtn Operations and more. More terrain is slated to open over the weekend so stay tuned for that info and please remember, some closures may be in effect due to high winds and heavy snowfall. Remember, we’re about “Pure Mtn Fun” so come check us out this Winter !!!!! stay tuned......

Snow showers before 4pm, then snow after 4pm. Temperature falling to around 21 by noon. Southwest wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 10 to 14 inches possible.
Friday Night
Snow before 10pm, then snow showers, mainly after 10pm. Low around 18. Southwest wind 7 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches possible.
