New Willow Creek Lounge Opens at Black Oak Casino Resort

Tuolumne, CA...Black Oak Casino Resort, an enterprise owned and operated by The Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians, kicks off a three-day celebration today marking the grand opening of its new Willow Creek Lounge. This latest renovation offers guests an expanded space for nightlife and for weekly live entertainment at the property.

“All renovations at Black Oak Casino Resort are done with our guests in mind as we strive to enhance their experience. The all-new Willow Creek Lounge does that,” said Ron Patel, CEO of Black Oak Casino Resort. “It also further solidifies our position as the foremost entertainment destination in the region.”

As part of the grand opening, Willow Creek Lounge will host three nights of exciting live entertainment. The festivities start with up and coming country music star, Tyler Rich on Thursday, May 11, followed by Dueling DJs on Friday, May 12 and concluding with the ultimate party dance band, Liquid Blue on Saturday, May 13. Xylobands will light up the party on Friday and Saturday night, offering guests a one-of-a-kind music experience. The wearable technology will directly connect guests of the party to the sounds of the night creating a visually stunning light show.

Located inside Black Oak Casino Resort, to the right of its main Casino entrance, the new Willow Creek Lounge is a 5000 square foot extension with a 299-person capacity. The lounge’s modern design is accented with elements of dark wood mixed with stone and enhanced with soft blue tones. LED lighting throughout the room highlights its seating, which includes eight booths and 32 short tables. Guests must have a Players Club card for access. It’s free and easy to join.

In addition to the expansive seating, the lounge is outfitted with plenty of space to host the live entertainment for which the property has become known. A large dance floor is flanked by a full stage with state-of-the-art lighting and audio equipment. The centerpiece of the lounge is its 10 by 16 foot high definition video wall. Beyond the lounge, is a pre-lounge area with more cutting edge technology such as a 7 by 12 foot TV. It will display news, national sporting events and video light shows. It also has the ability to live stream video from current concerts.

The Willow Creek pre-lounge area also includes five party pit table games, as well as many new themed slots. The pre-lounge is also home to guests’ favorite video slots.
