The Save Mart Companies C.A.R.E.S. Foundation Awards More Than $100,000 In Q1 Grants To Local Non-Profits Includes One Recipient In Angels Camp
Angels Camp, CA...The Save Mart Companies C.A.R.E.S. Foundation is pleased to announce that 15 organizations in throughout California and Northern Nevada received grants, including one in Angels Camp: Calaveras Community Foundation for $5,000
The Save Mart Companies has a long-standing relationship with the Calaveras Community Foundation, supporting its Career and Technical Training Scholarship program for the past five years. The grant will help fund the scholarship, which will be awarded to area high school seniors who want to pursue a vocational trade. This is the sixth year Save Mart is contributing to the fund.
CARES stands for Community, Arts, Recreation, Education and Sports and focuses on improving lives under these categories. The Save Mart Companies CARES Foundation donated more than $300,000 last year to nearly three dozen organizations in California and Northern Nevada.
