Arnold, CA...Some areas have recorded their wettest January in history according to the NWS Sacramento. The updated forecast for the West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada is as follows. Today Widespread snow showers. Highs 18 to 33 higher elevations...31 to 38 lower elevations. Snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. Prevailing south winds up to 10 mph. Tonight Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow showers. Colder. Lows 9 to 24 higher elevations...24 to 30 lower elevations. Prevailing southeast winds up to 10 mph.





Tuesday Mostly cloudy. At lower elevations, a slight chance of snow showers in the morning. At higher elevations, a slight chance of snow showers. Highs 20 to 35 higher elevations...33 to 41 lower elevations. Prevailing east winds up to 10 mph in the morning becoming light.

Tuesday Night Mostly clear. Lows 7 to 22 higher elevations... 21 to 29 lower elevations. Light winds becoming east up to 10 mph after midnight.

Wednesday Mostly sunny in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. Not as cold. Highs 23 to 37 higher elevations...37 to 43 lower elevations. Prevailing east winds up to 10 mph in the morning becoming light.

Wednesday Night Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of snow showers. Lows 15 to 30.

Thursday Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow showers. Highs 27 to 42.
