Janelle Ann Brown 1959-2016

San Andreas, CA...Janelle was a beautiful daughter, sister, companion, and friend. She was called home to heaven peacefully on September 2, 2016 after a lifelong battle with chronic health issues. Janelle was a resident of San Andreas, CA and had lived in Calaveras County for over 25 years.

Janelle was born on May 24, 1959 in Riverside, CA to James and JoAnn Brown. Janelle was preceded in death by her father James Brown on December 30, 2015. She is survived by her mother JoAnn Brown of Roque River, OR; brother John Brown of Roque River, OR; brother and sister In-Law James and Vicki Brown of Palo Alto, CA; sister and sister In-Law Michelle and Tracey Brown of Mountain Ranch, CA; long term companion Sue Franks of San Andreas, CA; children Joseph and Jasmine Franks, Jonathan and Jason Smith, Jesse Franks, Jesse Franks Jr, Jessica Franks; and multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
Janelle was an incredibly special individual who will be missed by all. To those who knew her, she had such a strong spirit for life and one would never know the pain she endured. Janelle was truly a gift to this world. Although many hearts are broken, it is comforting to know she is no longer suffering or in pain.
If your life was touched by Janelle’s spirit, please join us for a Celebration of Life on October 22, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the San Andreas Town Hall. Please bring a dish for a potluck. No donations, gifts, or flowers are necessary.
