The 21st Annual Logging Jamboree Filled White Pines

White Pines, CA...On September 3rd the Sierra Nevada Logging Museum's 21st Annual Logging Jamboree filled the museum grounds. The sights and sounds took you back to earlier years in the logging industry. The whishing sounds of crosscut saws, axes hitting their targets and the whine of chainsaws of all ages, sizes and power levels.

You can help the Logging Museum cut its way into to the future...

Friends of the Logging Museum (FLM) was formed in 1993 and incorporated in 1994 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. FLM is the lead organization for the development, operation, and growth of the Sierra Nevada Logging Museum, with ongoing technical support and assistance from the hard-working staff of the Stanislaus National Forest. FLM is composed of over 400 dues-paying members, including individuals, corporations, and community groups. A nine-member Board of Directors meets monthly to plan the Museum’s development and to oversee operation of the Museum. Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, at 6:00 p.m., at the Museum in White Pines near Arnold, CA.

We rely on membership dues to fund most of our day-to-day operations, allowing us to focus on raising the additional funds necessary for new projects and Museum development. Membership in Friends of the Logging Museum entitles you to receive our bi-annual newsletter, invitations to special events, and the opportunity to help preserve the history of logging and lumbering in the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Membership categories are: Senior/Student ($15); Individual/Family ($25); Business/Organization ($50) ; Museum Mentor ($100); and Patron ($250).

You can sign up online by visiting our Online Store or mail your checks for membership to:
