Wanted: Steven Ward Little As A Suspect In Kidnapping & Beating His Mother

Pioneer, CA...On Thursday May 12, 2016 at approximately 0645 hours the Amador County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a 66 year old female victim. The victim reported that she and her 44 year old son, Steven Ward Little, had moved into a residence on Vista Lane in Pioneer the week prior. The victim reported that she became involved in an argument with her son on Wednesday that turned physical and resulted in her son tying her up, beating her, choking her, brandishing firearms at her and threatening to murder her.

The victim was ultimately able to escape the residence early Thursday morning. Amador County Sheriff’s Deputies maintained constant surveillance of the residence on Vista Lane while detectives conducted the preliminary investigation and obtained search warrants for Little and for the residence. Upon execution of the warrants on the morning of Friday May 13, 2016 the residence was found to be unoccupied.

Steven Ward Little is a convicted felon. He is currently wanted for false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon, brandishing a firearm, elder abuse, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He is possibly armed with a .45 caliber handgun and a .12 gauge shotgun. His mode of transportation is not known.
