Murphys, CA...Tuesdays in Murphys - Winemakers Night at Alchemy - every Tuesday night from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Enjoy a featured wine and a great meal. Fridays and Saturdays at Zucca Tasting Room - "Zucca After Hours" is open 5-8 pm. If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a glass of wine on a Friday or Saturday night, the Zucca garden is your place. We always welcome your picnic items or takeout from area restaurants should you want to make a night of it.

Saturdays in Murphys - Walking Tours of Historic Downtown Murphys are available at no charge (donations gratefully accepted) on Saturday mornings at 10am leaving from the Old Timers Museum. Please contact Jo Sanders at 209-728-3072 to confirm dates and times or make arrangements for large groups.

April 23 to May 15, 2016 - Maple & Fine at the Black Bart Playhouse - Jordan Harrisons play features an urban power couple who have become allergic to their 21st century lives. They meet a charismatic man from a community of 1950's reenactors and forsake their cell phones and sushi for cigarettes and tupperware parties. April 26, 2016 - Byzantine Easter Cooking Class at Marisolio Tasting Room - Marisolio presents instructor Dimitri Postolu offering a menu featuring Greek and Mediterranean favorites: Spanikopita, Pastitsio, Baklava and more. Learn to make these authentic, delicious dishes presented by an expert. Tuesday, April 26 at both 10 AM and 6 PM. Class fee $40. Call 728-8853 to make a reservation. 488 Main St. Murphys.

April 30, 2016 - - Off the Beaten Path - A Fundraiser for Mind Matters - 7:30am to noon starting at Murphys Park. The event features a 1K run, open to boys and girls aged seven and younger, and two other races, 5K and 10K, open to men and women of all ages. The scenic course will begin at the park and continue on Six Mile Road past rolling hills and beautiful vineyards. Participants who would rather walk than run are welcome to do so. Check-in time will start at 7 a.m. Following a warm-up session, conducted by Kat Juarez-Sutton, the first race will begin at 8 a.m. Awards will be presented in a variety of categories. April 30, 2016 – Guided Hikes in Big Trees State Park - North Grove Guided Tours – Guided walks of the North Grove are held on Saturday at 1 pm. The walk is 1.5 to 2 hours. Meet in front of the Visitor Center. Bring water and your comfortable shoes. When appropriate – the guided walk becomes a snowshoe walk. Snowshoes are provided. May 1, 2016 – Sippin’ Sunday at the Hovey Wine Tasting Room - The weather is warming up! Join us for wine by the glass (or the bottle) and kick back on the lawn with a Bring-Your-Own-Picnic dinner from 5:30 to 7:30pm. No reservations – but seating is first come, first sat!

May 5, 2016 – Social Club Thursdays - A La Lune at Outer Aisle for Cinco de Mayo – 7pm

May 6, 2016 – Wine Down Friday at Stevenot Tasting Room - Each first Friday of each month from 5-8 pm Stevenot hosts “Wine Down Friday” in the Tasting Room on Main St. Murphys. This is an opportunity to meet the owners and staff while enjoying live music and wine by the glass.
