Angels Camp Launches Free Commercial Real Estate Database Easy Access To Properties & Buildings For Lease, Sale Or Rent

Angels Camp, CA...Looking for commercial space for rent or sale in Angels Camp just got much easier.  The new Angels Camp Commercial Property Database provides free online public access to properties and buildings for sale, lease, rent or build-to-suit.  It also serves property and business owners who have commercial property or businesses for rent or sale who want to list them on the database.

Main Street Angels Camp

A joint project of the City of Angels and Destination Angels Camp, this interactive database is updated monthly and is available on www.destinationangelscamp.com and www.angelscamp.gov.

“The Property Database represents a significant economic development tool for use in marketing Angels Camp,” explained Wes Kulm, Angels Camp Mayor and tenured board member of Destination Angels Camp. “This interactive database gives the user substantial information regarding the attractiveness and suitability of sites for potential development, as well as vital information about existing developed parcels and their availability for re-use. The beauty of the database is that it is non-proprietary, gathered from public records, site visits and various information sources, now made easily accessible to commercial real estate agents and the public.”

Prior to this database, the task of finding an available commercial or industrial property to start a new business or to expand an existing business was a daunting task. “Often commercial properties are listed for rent or sale directly by the owner and not posted on the multi-list service,” explained Anne Forrest, president of DAC. “And the realtors’ multi-list service does not handle properties for lease or rent or businesses for sale. That meant that a business looking for new space had to drive up and down Main Street looking for For-Sale or For-Rent signs.”

“This database does not take the place of listing a property for sale with a real estate agent who will handle marketing, inquiries and multi-list services,” Forrest added. “Neither DAC nor the City will be a liaison between the potential tenant or buyer and the property owner. The database is for information only.”

The database includes comprehensive information about each property: parcel number, addresses, street-view photo, acreage, price, square footage, contact information and zoning, as well as bookmarks of the different districts of Angels Camp divided by historic downtown, midtown and north town.

“The database currently includes approximately 365 properties zoned commercial, industrial and business expansion within city limits,” said Amy Augustine of Augustine Planning Associates, the company managing the data. “It does not include residential properties.”

Users can also search properties by parcel number or by address, as well as view the map by aerial image, topography or by basic street map. The “layer” tool gives three choices: buildout status (vacant, building or mixed), availability (for sale, lease, rent, sale and lease, build to suit or not available) or both.

DAC is currently planning training sessions for local realtors and property owners. For more information about the Angels Camp Commercial Database and DAC, visit destinationangelscamp.com or call (209) 736-0088.
