Calaveras Business Symposium & Expo Highlighted Business Opportunities

Angels Camp, CA...The Inaugural Calaveras Business Symposium & Expo rolled into Frogtown on November 2nd. It was a full day of exhibits, breakout sessions, coaching and evening mixer & expo. The keynote Speaker at luncheon was Joe McClure, the District Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) office in Sacramento. We have video of the Keynote below...

His office is responsible for the delivery of SBA services in a 21 county area in northern California. The United States Small Business Administration provides technical assistance in conjunction with local resource partners and operates a loan guarantee program with lenders nationwide to support and develop small businesses. McClure has been involved in economic development and small business lending for over twenty years and has held progressively more challenging executive management roles in business and economic development for the past eleven years.

The event was organized by the Calaveras Women's Network, Calaveras Economic Development Corporation & The Calaveras Chamber of Commerce.
