Butte Fire Recovery Led By Locals

San Andreas, CA...On Monday November 2, 2015 a team of community agencies formally organized themselves into a solid network to address long-term civilian needs in the wake of the Butte Fire. This network of nonprofit and government agencies is named Calaveras Recovers and the partner groups and Board of Directors are detailed below. Calaveras Recovers will continue the project of helping impacted residents of Calaveras County move forward during the next few
years to rebuild their livelihoods hindered and damaged by the Butte Fire nearly 2 months ago. Calaveras Recovers is able to receive donations and redistribute resources, either directly or through partner agencies, to locals impacted by the Butte Fire.
