Vehicle vs Pedestrian Accident After Celtic Faire Turns Fatal For Stockton Woman
Sonora, CA... The Sonora Police Department was contacted by the Stanislaus County Coroners Officer and advised that the female pedestrian in the vehicle vs. pedestrian accident on Stockton Road, on Saturday, 7 March 2015, has passed away as the result of the injuries she sustained from the incident. The female pedestrian has been identified as Kathy Warner, 61 of Stockton. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.

7 March 2015, at approx. 8:08 pm, emergency personnel responded to the area of Stockton Road (Highway 49) near Forest Rd., for a reported vehicle vs. pedestrian accident.
So far, it has been determined that Joseph McFadden, 71 of Atwater, was traveling westbound on Stockton Rd., in a 2011 Lincoln Town Car, when he struck a 61 year old female pedestrian, who was walking along the north edge of the roadway after attending the Celtic Fair.
The force of the impact knocked the female pedestrian over the vehicle and onto the pavement. The pedestrian suffered major head trauma and was airlifted to Modesto, where she was listed in extremely critical condition.
The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
