Valley Springs, CA...Under Calaveras Sheriff Volunteer Sgt. Aurora Weatherby’s supervision, five other Sheriff Volunteers (Lt. Ed Anderson, Lyle Bradt, Sgt. Ralph Carlascio, Louis Chiu, and Ron Parker) provided traffic control and crowd control during the Valley Springs Christmas Parade last week. The Calaveras County Sheriff Volunteer Unit continues to need more volunteers to assist various communities in holding public events in Calaveras County.
