Don Miller 1932 - July 24, 2014

San Andreas, CA....Don Miller born March 27, 1932 passed away peacefully at home on July 24, 2014. Don served in the United States Air Force from 1952 until he was honorably discharged in1960. Don produced and hosted Don's Cartoon Club,a popular children's program, that ran for many years in Chico,Ca. After that he hosted "Color Traventure Theater" for many years on KCRA Channel 3 in Sacramento. This was a very popular television program that ran in the 1960's. Don operated a successful advertising agency where he was pleased to work with motion picture stars such as Lorne Greene, Slim Pickens, Red Skelton, Sheb Wooley, Larry Storch, Forrest Tucker, Rex Allen and others....

Don loved to tell stories about the Wild West and had a keen knowledge of the history of the Gold Country. He is survived by his loving wife Frances, by his sons, David Miller of Bend, Oregon and Ted Miller of Auburn, Ca, his step children, Lisa Roth of Granite Bay, Ca and Bryan Barnes of Rocklin Ca, and by his grandchildren, Jordan, Josie, Hallie
Jace, McKayle, Jared, Kyle, Natalie, Cole, Logan and Cassidy.

Later in his life in the 90's Don operated a Red Skelton Art Gallery in Amador City, California with his wife, Frances that was very successful.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ward Miller from Oklahoma and Minnie Leora Pride of Illinois, His Sister, Dorothy Shaw of Carmichael, his stepfather, Charley, whom he dearly loved.
