Theft of a Beautiful Heirloom
Arnold, Ca...We are sad to report that our cherished heirloom flag was stolen from in front of our home during the night time hours of July 5-6. It was a lovely 4' x 8' flag with beautiful embroidered stars. It was used to drape the casket of Jen's great grandfather, a WW1 veteran. Needless to say, she is heartbroken... The flag was a big hit during the Arnold parade. Many families posed in front of it throughout the day. The thief actually cut the corners away from the flag rather than bothering to simply untie it. A blue cloth bag was found laying in the driveway where the theft took place, possibly the thief's. We know that the flag is gone forever but just wanted to show one last picture of it. Thanks, Jim and Jen in Arnold.
If anyone has any information about this theft, please contact the authorities immediately.
