Fire On The Mountain - Hot Fun In The Summertime Returns

Twain Harte, Ca...Looks like "Hot Fun In The Summertime" returns for it's 37th year July 26 & 27, 2014. This popular event draws 5000 quality craft purchasers and music lovers. Presented this year are the works of many talented craft & graphic artists & live entertainment. Starting at the Twain Harte Arch (Joaquin Gully Rd & Twain Harte Dr) nearly 100 high caliber artists will display & sell their fine wares which include watercolors, metal sculpture, iron work, pottery, photography, candles, fine jewelry of gold & silver, clothing & accessories, wood works, stained glass, folk art, florals, bird houses, & feeders, leather goods, soaps & lotions, garden art, kids face painter. Gourmet food products include olive oils, vinegars, mustards, marinades, pastas, spice dips, English toffee, water baked nut varieties, jerky, salsas, dried fruit, etc. There's lots of great items and arts on display in the marketplace...

Captain Jack Spareribs - San Francisco Street Performer, nationally known touring act, performs regularly at Pier 39, fun for all!

Festival kitchens will serve a wide variety of meals & treats ~ brick oven pizza, BBQ sausage sandwiches, hamburgers, tritip, chicken,hot dogs & corn dogs, snow cones, fruit bars. Most of the restaurants will also be open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The newly reopened Eproson Restaurant will be open for the weekend.
The Viet Nam Veterans will be selling beers near the Main Stage all weekend.
The COOL CUSTOM HOT ROD CAR SHOW will be shown at Twain Harte Center in the midst of the fair.

WINE TASTING BOTH DAYS!
A Twain Harte Festival yearly tradition for many years, this wine tasting event showcases vintners from Amador, Calaveras, Mendocino, Sonoma, Stanislaus & Tuolumne Counties,. See www.twainhartecc.com
for a list of participating wineries. Fest runs Noon to 3pm over at Meadow Plaza (one block walk down Meadow Dr. next to the CDF Fire Station. Separate admission for the wine tasting. 209-586-4482 (All vendors subject to change)


Festivities for the 37th TWAIN HARTE SUMMER ARTS & WINE FESTIVAL 2014 in beautiful downtown Twain Harte. Show runs Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 5pm. Twain Harte is approx. 12 miles East of Sonora just off Hwy 108. Admission is FREE. Artists' booths are open from 10am to 5pm & wind around Eproson House, down Cedar Drive & Joaquin Gully. Entertainment runs continuously on the Main Stage. Public Parking is located at Twain Harte School, please follow direction signs, also may park on the side streets and across from the park. Please do not block fire lanes, park on side streets where allowed. Lots of food & drink are available.

This festival helps benefit many local community organizations. Twain Harte "Concerts in the Park" features popular Modesto area trio Homegrown is on Sat eve 6pm to 8pm.
