THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CHAMBERS 891 Mountain Ranch Rd, San Andreas, California

2. Adopt a Resolution proclaiming March 2014 as American Red Cross Month in Calaveras County; Supervisor Wright – Board action:

9:00 AM to 9:30 AM: PUBLIC COMMENT
Any item of interest to the public that is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Board and is not posted on the Consent or Regular agendas may be addressed during the Public Comment period. California law prohibits the Board from taking action on any matter which is not posted on the agenda unless it is determined to be an emergency by the Board of Supervisors. (Board Rules of Procedure - Rule 44). If Public Comment is completed before the 30 minute allotted time period, the Board may immediately move to the Consent Agenda. If Public Comment is not completed during the allotted time period, it will be continued at the conclusion of the Regular Agenda in order to provide an opportunity for the remainder of comments to be heard.

CONSENT AGENDA
Consent agenda items are expected to be routine and non-controversial. They will be acted upon by the Board at one time without discussion. Any board member, staff member or interested party may request removal of an item from the consent agenda for later discussion. 4. Approve a Resolution consolidating Special District Elections with the Statewide General Election in accordance with Election Code §10404; Elections – Board action:

5. Approve a Record Retention Schedule for the Probation Department and authorize the destruction of records in accordance with the Schedule; Probation – Board action:

Authorize the Board Chair to: 1) Sign the modified agreement with the California Department of Public Health, Emergency Preparedness Office (CDPH Allocation Agreement No. EPO 13-06), for Public Health Emergency Preparedness funds to include the PHEP CDC Base Allocation in the amount of $122,354 and HPP Carry-Forward funds in the amount of $77,985. The total amount of this Agreement is $409,026 for the period July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2014, 2) Sign subsequent amendments to California Department of Public Health Allocation Agreement No. EPO 13-06 funding in exchange for local service delivery in compliance with same or similar subsequent CDPH Allocation Agreement, and 3) Approve a budget adjustment to the Public Health Services Fiscal Year 2013/14 budget to include an increase of revenue by $200,339 and an increase of expenditure by $200,339 (Budget Adjustment Requests are attached); Health & Human Services – Board action:

7. Authorize a Minute Order approving award from the California Department of Parks and Recreation Division of Boating and Waterways (DBW) Boating Safety for funding of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marine Safety Unit for FY 2014-15 in the amount of $174,926; Sheriff – Board action:
