Slipcover Design Contest Winner!
Hathaway Pines, CA...Linda Behringer of Cover Ups Complete & Custom Window Coverings in Hathaway Pines, Ca., took 2nd place in the Slipcover Design contest sponsored by www.SlipcoverNetwork.com, held during the Slipcover Summit 2007 in Boston, Massachusetts June 27-29, 2007.....
Linda’s Slipcover Design entry was amongst 15 professional entries from across the United States. Linda’s award wining design will be featured in the “Slipcover Design Calendar 2008”for the month of May.
Cover Ups Complete & Custom Window Coverings is a custom workroom specializing in custom window treatments, slipcovers, bedding, pillows, cushions plus other soft home décor accessories opened it doors in 2003.
This particular slipcover project which Linda entered into the Design Contest was not only a difficult piece of furniture to slipcover (a recliner not tackled by most professionals) but the fabric design and motif was also quite challenging to arrange.
Linda’s slipcover peers voted her an award as they understood the complexity involved in creating such a project.
