Chef James Says "Best Year Ever" for 4th Annual BBQ Competition....The Typsy Chicks Take Best of Show~with Video and Photos by Dylan Richardson
Murohys, CA....The grills were on fire, the smoke is churning, and the meat was sizzling at the 5th Annual BBQ Competiition held out at Ironstone Vineyards today. Executive Chef James Lehman said "This is the best year ever for the competition". I talked to several judges about what they were looking for. Some liked a glaze of BBQ sauce some liked a light coat. But when it came down to it the Brown Brothers, Smokin Cellar Rats,and the Pork Purveyors took the big honors. privilege to talk to had a great sauce and their ribs were taken home by a certain unnamed judge. Be on the look out for the 5th annual Ironstone Vineyards BBQ competition next year to be even better.
