SRT's Shrek The Musical Through October 3rd

Posted by: thepinetree on 09/24/2021 03:25 PM
Sonora, CA...The greatest fairy tale never told comes to life in Shrek The Musical, the award-winning Broadway musical comedy adventure based on the Oscar-winning film. A reclusive ogre finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking donkey and a feisty princess. Throw in a short-tempered wannabe king, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other classic fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the makings of a riotously dysfunctional road trip! Featuring all-new songs and outrageous humor, Shrek The Musical is ogre-sized fun for the whole family. It’s no wonder The New York Times called it “true happiness” and The Daily Mirror said it’s “the most fun you’ll ever have”.

President Biden on the COVID-19 Response and the Vaccination Program

Posted by: thepinetree on 09/24/2021 11:03 AM
Washington, DC...Good morning, everyone. As I’ve said before, we have the tools to beat COVID — COVID-19 — if we come together as a country and use the tools we have. Earlier this month, I laid out a six-part plan for the fall that does just that: One, vaccinate the unvaccinated, including with new requirements; two, keep vaccinated — keep the vaccinated protected; three, keep children safe and schools open; four, increase testing and masking; five, protect the economic — our economic recovery; and six, improve the care for people with COVID-19. Now, we’ve made important progress on each front.

Federal Reserve Board and Federal Open Market Committee Release Economic Projections

Posted by: thepinetree on 09/22/2021 10:35 PM
Washington, DC...The Federal Reserve is committed to using its full range of tools to support the U.S. economy in this challenging time, thereby promoting its maximum employment and price stability goals.  With progress on vaccinations and strong policy support, indicators of economic activity and employment have continued to strengthen. The sectors most adversely affected by the pandemic have improved in recent months, but the rise in COVID-19 cases has slowed their recovery. Inflation is elevated, largely reflecting transitory factors. Overall financial conditions remain accommodative, in part reflecting policy measures to support the economy and the flow of credit to U.S. households and businesses.

Sender’s Market’s Weekly Ad & Grocery Specials Through September 28th! Shop Local & Save!

Posted by: News_Desk on 09/22/2021 11:44 AM
Mountain Ranch, CA…In 1950, we started out as a family operation with Erich’s father and mother, August and Freida Sender, in a century-old adobe building. The upstairs was home to the Sender family, and the first floor included groceries, a meat market, a bar, and a small eating place called Opa’s Smokehouse. On Christmas morning in 1968, the old store was destroyed by fire. But in June 1969, Sender’s Market, Inc. was opened. Since that time, there have been many changes, including remodeling, expansion, and the addition of many employees. That’s also when we added the truss plant and purchased Sender’s Market Ace Hardware in Valley Springs. Today, we’re still family owned and still working hard to stock everything from pantry essentials to power tools. Whether you’ve got questions about the perfect cut of meat or the right kind of paint, our helpful, knowledgeable staff has you covered. Click on images below for larger versions
